Have you ever held a grudge? Be honest! Some people allow grudges to rule their behavior…is this you? Is there one person that you can’t seem to forgive? Most of the time grudges are a product of miscommunication or pure hearsay. You think the person meant one thing and they really meant another or you heard that they said something that in reality they never even said. Even if it is all true, grudges do more harm than good. Sure, at first you may fell like you are showing them who’s boss…but are you? You are allowing yourself to feel resentment and anger. You are increasing your stress levels by the second. Is it worth it? If this describes you, take a second and write a note or call the person. Talk it through or write what you’re feeling down. Even if you don’t send the letter, you will probably feel a huge tension release. Don’t allow yourself to become governed by stress created for little or no reason.
