Most of us know that anger and high amounts of stress can cause great harm to a person’s body, but we can’t seem to avoid it. Can you think of the last time you went one full day without being angry? We waste time being angry at almost everything in our daily lives…it could be the traffic jam on the way to the office, the dishes that never seem to get done, a project that you can’t seem to complete, etc. Take some time this week to recognize when you are feeling angry. If you are angry about a situation that you can’t change, force yourself to accept it. If you are angry about something that you need to get done, stop procrastinating and make time to do it. You will feel much better about getting it done and your body will thank you for releasing the excess tension.
