If you order the side salad ask for a side of grilled chicken. It is only a $1 for each where I live and is a good way to get your protein and veggies without the fattening carbs in the bun.
Mickey D's has a great side salad! Tomatoes, shredded carrots and usually a cucumber slice or two are included. All that and it is only $1.00. Watch out for the dressing though, some of those dressings have over 200 calories per serving!

the top bread on the fish sandwich isnt the bad guy, its the breaded and deepfried piece of fish on it that adds all the fat. The apple dippers are also great but only if you toss the caramel dipping sauce. It contains enough sugar to cancelout the benefits of the fruit/

If you are eating at McDonalds most places will be happy to add a grilled chicken patty to the side salad for an additional charge. It adds 120 calories, 20fat cal, 2 carbs and 22 protien. It feels like a full meal paired with one of the low fat dressings and you are good to go

I like the side sald on the menu for a dollar. I like to pair this with a filet of fish sandwich for 380 calories but I do not eat the top I ask for it "open "With the side salad you can use the Newmans Balsamic Vinegraite. This works if we are travelling in the car especially with the grandchildren who love the apple dippers.
