Minestrone Soup

I had the Minestrone Soup the other night. It is mostly vegetables, with a few kidney beans and a little bit of pasta. It's spicy and good. I recommend it!

I normally order the minestrone soup and a plain breadstick. The soup would be better with less garlic and no salt. Salt can be added at the table if guests want it.

I love the minestrone soup however it does have problems. I agree about the sodium. The actual nutrition data for every meal will vary for various reasons, but that can be particularly true with minestrone. One scoop of soup may give you a lot of pasta or more beans than another scoop. I suggest not eating the pasta in the soup. The beans are healthy in various ways, just know if you get a double scoop of them, your nutrition data will be different.

It's okay, but has too much salt. It does go well with the Olive Garden salad.

The minestrone soup and Olive Garden salad are a perfect combination! The soup has a light, tomato-based broth with plenty of vegetables and beans - perfect for a warming italian meal that doesn't make you feel heavy.

I ordered the Minestrone soup the other night. It has lots of vegetables, kidney beans, and a little bit of pasta in it. It's on the spicy side which I like. A much healthier and more filling choice than a fried appetizer!
